Adel Yaqoub, vice president of the handball team at Al-Duhail Club, expressed his great happiness at the third crowning of the Emir’s Cup. After the crowning, Yaqoub said: “We congratulate His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani, the club’s president, and all the members of the board of directors, on winning the Emir Handball Cup. Our happiness is indescribable for achieving the title of the most important championship for the third time in the club’s history and winning our second championship in the season after winning the league title.”
Yaqoub added: “We dedicate the deserved title to all Al Duhail fans, players, and everyone who contributed to the club’s new achievements.”
Yaqoub concluded: “Al Duhail deserved to be crowned with the title after playing a great match against a strong team like Al Arabi. I believe that this second crowning in the sports season will motivate us to keep up this level in the new season.”
