Al Duhail to Kick Off Amir Cup Campaign facing Al Waab…

The draw for the 2026 Amir Cup was held this morning, resulting in Al Duhail facing Al Waab on 12 Feb 2026 at 04:30 pm in Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium (QSC)

This year’s edition of the Amir Cup features a knockout format starting from the Round of 16, putting teams from the first and second tiers against each other in single-elimination matches. If a match ends in a draw during regular time, extra time will be played, followed by penalties.

The winner of the Amir Cup secures a direct qualifying spot for next season’s AFC Champions League Elite. Qatar is allocated three slots in the continental competition: two direct group-stage spots and a third via the preliminary rounds.
