Al Duhail First Football Team Head Coach Djamel Belmadi stressed that the victory secured over Al Sadd in the previous round of the Doha Bank Stars League has given the players a major moral boost and reinforced their confidence and ability to sustain positive results. At the same time, he emphasized the importance of focus and thorough preparation for the upcoming encounter facing Lusail, which is no less important than any other match the team plays in their championship campaign.

Belmadi opened his remarks during the pre-match press conference by saying: “An extremely important match awaits us against Lusail, and we must continue our positive results, build upon what we delivered in past matches, maintain our attacking effectiveness, and stay fully focused to achieve our goal of claiming all three points.”

Commenting on the recent victory over Al Sadd, Belmadi stated: “Without a doubt, we secured an important and valuable win versus a major opponent that stands as one of the most prominent clubs in Qatari football history. This triumph boosted everyone’s confidence and gave the team a strong moral push. Among the most crucial gains we took away from this match was maintaining our cohesion and collective discipline, which reflects the spirit the players possess on the pitch.”

Belmadi concluded his statements by praising the young elements and the players’ commitment, saying: “We have a group of young players who continue to work hard and gain more experience as time goes on. I would like to congratulate them on the levels and distinctive efforts they are delivering. Furthermore, all the players are showing great commitment to executing tactical instructions, which is a highly positive matter. There is still much ahead of us to offer, and we are confident that this collective spirit, discipline, and continuous work will help us sustain positive results and achieve further victories during the coming phase.”
