Al Duhail First Football Team Captain, Al-Moez Ali, expressed his happiness with today’s victory over a well-organized Lusail side and the crucial three points secured by the team, during post-match television statements.

Al Moez began his remarks by saying: “Missing the penalty kick increased the difficulty of the match for our team. We played a great game, dropped back slightly, and the pressure on us grew after Lusail equalized. However, we held our ground, earned an opportunity to score the second goal, and managed to convert it.”

Al Moez added: “Lusail is an organized team with young players, and I was surprised by their level during our first encounter with them. I congratulate my teammates on winning these important three points against a respectable team like Lusail.”

Al Moez concluded his statements by saying: “Everyone knows that I play as a striker for the national team, while at the club I play as a winger. Al Duhail Club is bigger than Al Moez and is what matters most, of course. I am an individual within a system and I do not think of myself. Whatever my playing position may be—and even though I excel slightly more as a striker—we must work hard and give our best, which is what helped me score two goals for the team today and win the match.”

It is worth noting that Al Moez Ali played a major role in Al Duhail victory over Lusail by scoring two of the team three goals, a performance that earned him the Man of the Match award for tonight.
