A 1-1 draw sealed the Round 3 marquee matchup of the Doha Bank Stars League between Al Duhail and hosts Al Rayyan at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium.

Led by the Team Head Coach Djamel Belmadi, Al Duhail lined up with the following starting XI:

Al Rayyan struck early, with Roger Guedes opening the scoring in the 5th minute of the first half.

Al Duhail came close to leveling the score before the break, but Al Rayyan goalkeeper pulled off a brilliant save to deny Omar Sekou in a one-on-one situation, squandering a clear opportunity to equalize.

In the 72nd minute, displaying superb skill and precise placement, Tahsin Mohamed found the back of the net. Receiving the ball outside the penalty area, he turned sharply and unleashed a powerful left-footed strike into the host’s net to pull Al Tofan back on level terms.

Neither side could break the deadlock in the remaining minutes, leaving the match tied at 1-1.

The result brings Al Duhail tally to 5 points at the conclusion of Round 3 of the Doha Bank Stars League.
