Al Duhail Vice President supports the team in their final training session before tomorrow’s final match…

Al Duhail First Football Team French Head Coach Christophe Galtier emphasized the importance of the upcoming quarterfinal match versus Al Rayyan in the Amir Cup, scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, and the desire of the players and everyone to win the match and achieve the precious title.

During the pre-match press conference held this morning, Galtier stressed the significance of the encounter, stating: “Al Rayyan is a big team, and they have a new coach. Since his arrival, the team has been playing well, and they also have players at a high technical level.”

Galtier added: “The players are determined to win this precious cup to compensate for our loss in the league and the Qatar Cup. We tried in the league, but we were not fortunate in the end, and Al Sadd won the title. We reached the final of the Qatar Cup and lost on penalties to Al Sadd as well.”

He then continued: “The match versus Al Rayyan comes within the last competition of the current season, which is the Amir Cup, and we must win and compensate for our losses in the league and the Qatar Cup. Winning the match against Al Rayyan will be a great motivator for our team to advance to the final if we achieve victory in this encounter.”

Regarding the injury of Luis Alberto and his readiness for Al Rayyan match: “Luis Alberto’s injury may be minor, but he may not be present in the upcoming match versus Al Rayyan due to the short time frame. The player has an appointment today at Aspetar to determine the extent of the injury and the duration of his absence.”

He further added: “The Amir Cup is the last tournament for us in general and for me in particular this season. It comes after losing the league and the Qatar Cup. By the way, there is absolutely no pressure on me. On the contrary, there is no pressure at all, and I will strive hard to win the last tournament of the season alongside the technical staff and the players.
