Al Duhail star player, Karim Boudiaf, confirmed that the team is ready for tomorrow’s crucial match versus the Iranian Side Sepahan. The winner will qualify for the group stage of the AFC Champions League Elite. The match will be held at Khalifa International Stadium. Boudiaf made his comments during the pre-match press conference this evening.
Karim Boudiaf opened his statements by saying: “We’re ready for the Sepahan match. We’ve been preparing for four weeks for this important game. We’re working well as a team and have played some high-level friendly matches in preparation for this one.”
Boudiaf added: “It’s difficult to start a new official competition versus an experienced team with a lot of veteran players. However, I can confirm that we are fully prepared and we’re aiming to return to the next stage of the new AFC Champions League format.”
Karim concluded his statements by saying: “We have prepared well under the leadership of coach Djamel Belmadi. Even though the team has changed significantly, we are working well and we know the coach’s style and methods. There is a great sense of harmony in the team, and we will work hard to achieve our goal of winning the match and qualifying for the group stage.”
