Al Duhail First Football Team Head Coach Jamal Belmadi stressed the importance of focusing well before their match versus Al Shahania, which is set to be the team opening game in the Doha Bank Stars League next Saturday.

Belmadi began his statements at the pre-match press conference by saying: “After the Sepahan match in the Asian play-off, we entered a recovery and rest period before the league matches kicked off. Today, we begin the serious work in preparation for Al Shahania match in the first round.”

Belmadi added: “We haven’t started preparations for the AlShahania match yet due to the tight schedule, but we will start seriously preparing today and will continue to focus during the few days leading up to the match.”

Belmadi continued: “Sepahan match was very difficult, and we were able to qualify for the AFC Champions League Elite. We’ve moved on from the atmosphere of that match and have turned the page on it. We will begin preparing to enter the league competition strongly, starting with Al Shahania game.”

Belmadi concluded his statements by saying: “I cannot confirm whether there will be changes to the team lineup for Al Shahania match, but I assure you that everyone is ready to participate whenever they are summoned to
