Piątek’s Hat-trick leads Al Duhail to Victory over Umm Salal…

Al Duhail First Football Team secured a significant 4-2 victory over Umm Salal in the fourth round of the Doha Bank Stars League. The Tornado managed to turn the game around after being behind 2-1 in the first half.

Al Duhail, led by the Head Coach Djamel Belmadi, started the match with the following lineup:
(1) Salah Zakaria (goalkeeper), (4) Youssef Ayman, (5) Bassam Al Rawi, (8) Paulo Edmilson, (9) Krzysztof Piątek, (10) Luis Alberto, (12) Karim Boudiaf, (18) Sultan Al Brake, (21) Jean-Victor Castelletto, (77) Adel Boulebina.

In the second minute, Al Duhail had their first attempt, but Adel Boulebina’s cross was cleared by Umm Salal goalkeeper before it reached Al Duhail attackers.

In the 14th minute, Adel Boulebina’s shot from outside the penalty area was successfully saved by Umm Salal goalkeeper, keeping the score level at 0-0.

In the 63rd minute, Mubarak Shanan earned a penalty for Al Duhail. Krzysztof Piątek stepped up to take it, scoring Al Duhail third goal and his second of the night.

In the second half stoppage time, the referee awarded another penalty to Al Duhail after a foul on Mubarak Shanan. Krzysztof Piątek successfully converted it, completing his personal hat-trick and scoring Al Duhail fourth goal.

The remaining minutes of added time saw no further changes to the score. The referee, Salman Falahi, blew the final whistle, confirming Al Duhail 4-2 victory.

With this win, Al Duhail points total rises to four at the end of the fourth round.
