Al Duhail First Football Team lost 1-2 to their host, the Saudi Side Al Hilal, in the match held at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh. The match was part of the first round of the AFC Champions League Elite tournament.

In the 65th minute, Adel Boulbina almost put Al Duhail back in front, but Al Hilal defense cleared the attack away from their defensive area.
In the 67th minute, Al Hilal took the lead with a shot from Théo Hernandez, making the score 2-1 in favor of Al Hilal.
Al Duhail attempts to equalize in the final minutes were unsuccessful. The referee blew the final whistle, ending the match with a 2-1 victory for Al Hilal over Al Duhail.
