Al Duhail First Football Team Head Coach Djamel Belmadi confirmed in his statements at the pre-match press conference held this evening the difficulty of the match against the Saudi side Al-Ittihad in the AFC Champions League Elite, which will be hosted tomorrow, Monday, at Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium at Al Duhail Club.
Belmadi began his statements by saying: “Everyone knows the difficulty of facing Al-Ittihad team, but we are playing on our home ground and we seek to win the three points and deliver the expected performance collectively, as we have done before.”
Belmadi added: “Of course, there may be a link between the league matches and the Champions League, especially when the time difference between the matches is short. I have complete confidence that the players will deliver a different level of performance, and we always strive to increase our concentration level during major confrontations, which applies to our upcoming match against Al-Ittihad.”
Belmadi concluded his statements by saying: “We know very well that we have important matches on our home ground and others away… and whenever you play on your home ground, you must win because it is always difficult to collect points from the opponents’ stadium, and we know that difficulty very well. Therefore, we will strive to give our best to win the match points.
