Adil Boulbina, the Algerian international and Al Duhail First Football Team player, confirmed that the team is still capable of securing a spot in the next round through their upcoming match versus the Iraqi side Al Shorta in the final round of the AFC Champions League Elite league stage.

Speaking at the post-match press conference following the game against Al Sharjah, Boulbina stated: “We feel a sense of heartbreak for missing the opportunity to qualify tonight, especially since the match was on our home turf. However, the chance is still there, and we will do everything in our power to snatch a qualification spot during the final match versus Al Shorta.”

It is worth noting that Adil Boulbina scored Al Duhail only goal in tonight’s match against Sharjah and was also named Player of the Match.
