Al Duhail First Football Team Head Coach Djamel Belmadi expressed his dissatisfaction with the result achieved by the team today during their match versus the UAE’s Sharjah, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Belmadi stated: “Qualifying for the next stage is not easy. We have one final match against the Iraqi team Al Shorta away from home; we must win first, and then look at our chances of qualifying.”

Belmadi also emphasized that in such decisive matches hosted on your home turf, it is expected to secure a victory and take all three points. However, the result was a draw, meaning the team missed out on two points against Sharjah.

It is worth noting that Al Duhail drew 1-1 against their guests, Sharjah, in the penultimate round of the league stage of the AFC Champions League Elite.
