Al Duhail First Handball Team secured their spot in the semifinals of the Amir Cup Handball Championship after defeating Qatar SC with a score of 36–27 in their quarterfinal matchup.

With this victory, Al Duhail is set to face Al Rayyan in the semifinal round. The match is scheduled to take place this coming Saturday 11 April 2026.
