Al Duhail First Football Team Head Coach Djamel Belmadi emphasized the importance of winning the upcoming match versus Al Arabi on Saturday in the Doha Bank Stars League to continue competing for the league title this season.
Belmadi began his statements by saying: “Of course, tomorrow’s match versus Al Arabi will be difficult, and we must first forget the AFC Champions League match and put our full focus entirely on the league match.”
Belmadi added: “The match versus Al Arabi certainly won’t be easy, especially since it comes after a strong match against a high-value opponent, Al Hilal. I don’t think we are under any additional pressure, especially since we play for a great club and are accustomed to such things. We greatly respect Al Arabi team and are aware of their capabilities. Our goal is to deliver an excellent performance with high morale to win this match, despite the absences the team is suffering from due to injuries. We have time before the match to assess the readiness of the injured players.”
When asked about the lack of attacking effectiveness in the league and the Algerian professional Adel Boulbina not scoring any goals, Belmadi concluded his statements by saying: “It’s true that Adel Boulbina hasn’t scored in the league despite the chances he had, due to a lack of luck. We might see him score in the next match against Al Arabi, just as he did in the Asian match. Boulbina is still a young player and has the opportunity to gain experience and effectiveness in the coming periods
