Al Duhail First Football Team Captain Al Moez Ali confirmed that the squad has prepared in the best possible way for the kickoff of the Doha Bank Stars League and their opening-round match versus Al Sailiya.

Opening his statements during the pre-match press conference, Al Moez said: “Following our return from the successful preparatory camp in the Netherlands, our focus is at its absolute peak as we await the start of the season versus Al Sailiya. We aim to deliver a standout performance worthy of our club’s name.”

He added: “We all know what happened last season, and the level we showed back then certainly did not satisfy us as players. This season, we have a great opportunity to bounce back with the team strong character and regain our usual passion, starting with the Al Sailiya match.”

Al Moez continued: “The title will not be won in the first round, so we will strive to play as one unified unit and collect points right from the start. We must maintain our composure and take things step by step so that we remain right in the title hunt come next April or May.”
