Al Duhail First Football Team Head Coach Djamel Belmadi emphasized the importance of winning the opening match of the Doha Bank Stars League versus Al Sailiya, which takes place on Saturday at Al Bayt Stadium.

Opening his statements during the pre-match press conference, Belmadi said: “We started our preparatory training in Doha before heading to our training camp in the Netherlands. Although we only had half the squad available, the players present showed high focus and clear commitment in training.”

Belmadi added: “In the Netherlands camp, the joining of the international players helped boost team spirit and significantly raised the level of performance. From this standpoint, I believe the pre-season preparation period is extremely crucial, and overall, I am satisfied with how this period went.”
