Al Duhail Head Coach Hernan Crespo confirmed that the team’s players are at the top of their focus before confronting Al Sailiya in Round 7 of the league, and the coach said in the pre-match press conference that was convened at 05:30 pm yesterday in the club’s press conference hall: We are ready for Al Sailiya match and everyone is working hard to collect the match points as we are striving to build a new coaching philosophy for the team.

Crespo continued: Al Duhail is a great team and we must always find solutions and collect points in all the matches we play because all the teams facing us are doing their best to make our task difficult. The importance of our match versus Al Sailiya lies in the fact that it comes before a long period of suspension in the league and we must achieve victory which depends on the team’s focus and discipline on the field and now our entire concentration is on this match.

Commenting on the team’s participation in the Ooredoo Cup Competition, Crespo said: Every match in which our players wear Al Duhail jerseys is important, and every tournament we play we strive to win its title. I respect the strength and importance of the league, but all tournaments are also important to us.

Crespo concluded: The team has players with good levels and can develop through training, and the recent results clearly demonstrated the quality and strength of our work. This is the first step and we must continue, the players have a lot to offer, and I am proud of the players who are with me after they succeeded in presenting themselves as required, despite the missing players.
