Our first team of handball concluded their group stage fixtures by overcoming the Iranian Club Shahid 29 – 23 in the 25th Asian Club Handball Championship currently held in Esfahan, Iran. Al Duhail is on top of Group B with 8 points and guaranteed qualification to the semifinal round.

Al Duhail managed to dominate the game since the beginning and finished the first half in the lead 15 – 9. Then the team players continued their excellence in the second half taking advantage of the players’ speed and strength as well as the brilliance of goalkeeper Belal who won the Man of the Match award. Al Duhail achieved their fourth victory awaiting the conclusion of Group A fixtures to identify which team will player versus Al Duhail in the semifinal.
