Al Duhail First Football Team lost to Al Wakrah in their second-round match of the Doha Bank Stars League at Khalifa International Stadium.
Led by coach Djamel Belmadi, Al Duhail started the match with the following lineup: (1) Salah Zakaria (goalkeeper), (5) Bassam Al Rawi, (6) Marco Verratti, (8) Paulo Edmilson, (9) Krzysztof Piątek, (12) Karim Boudiaf, (19) Benjamin Bourigeaud, (21) Jean Castelletto, (22) Ibrahim Qader, (24) Homam Al Amin, (77) Adel Boulbina.
The third minute saw Al Duhail first attempt when the ball reached Verratti inside the penalty area. He shot powerfully toward Al Wakrah goal, but the defense cleared it for a corner.
