Al Duhail Loses to Al Rayyan in the Doha Bank Stars League…

Al Duhail First Football Team lost to Al-Rayyan by one clean goal in the Round 3 match of the Doha Bank Stars League.

Al Duhail, led by coach Djamel Belmadi, started the match with the following lineup:

In the 23rd minute, Adel Boulbina took a brilliant shot from a long distance, which Al Rayyan goalkeeper barely managed to save, keeping the score tied at 0-0.

In the 34th minute, Al Rayyan goalkeeper intercepted the ball just before it reached Boulbina, who was one-on-one with the keeper, and Al Duhail missed a chance for the first goal.

In the final moments of the first half (45th minute), Al Rayyan goalkeeper again saved a powerful shot from Piatek, ensuring the score remained level at halftime.

In the 54th minute, Boulbina had a clear one-on-one opportunity but shot wide, missing a chance to put Al Duhail in the lead.

The 61st minute witnessed Al Rayyan score the winning goal. A defensive error by Al Duhail allowed Al Rayyan forward Guedes to find the back of the net.

In the 63rd minute, a shot from Edmilson from outside the box went over Al Rayyan crossbar.

In the 93rd minute, the referee showed a red card to Ismail Mohamed after a challenge in the midfield. However, the referee ruled out the decision after a VAR review.

In the 10th minute of stoppage time, Ismail Mohamed missed an opportunity to equalize, as his shot went just wide over Al Rayyan cross bar.

Al Duhail attempts to score in the remaining minutes were unsuccessful, and the referee blew the final whistle, confirming Al-Rayyan 1-0 victory.
