Al Duhail First Handball Team secured a thrilling 34-31 victory over the Emirati Side Al-Sharjah in their fifth-round match of the Asian Handball Championship, currently being held in Kuwait.

Al Duhail managed to wrap up the first half in their favor with a four-goal lead, finishing 19-15. Although Al-Sharjah staged a comeback to take the lead in the second half, the experience of Al Duhail players ultimately proved decisive, sealing the match at 34-31.

This victory boosts Al Duhail hopes of reaching the semi-finals and the final four of the tournament, raising our team’s tally to five points. Al Duhail is scheduled to face Saudi Arabia Al-Khaleej tomorrow in a highly anticipated Asian showdown.
