Al Duhail Loses to Al Taawon in the First Asian Round

The team lost its match in the opening round of the group stage of the AFC Champions League against Al-Taawon with two goals against a goal. The match was held at the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Sports City in Buraidah at 11:15 PM this evening. 

Edmilson began scoring in the 8th minute of the match with a shot from inside the penalty area, but Al-Taawoun managed to return to the match quickly through their  professional player Tuampa in the 11th minute, which is what the first half of the match ended on. In the second half, Al Duhail continued to dominate the match and launched more than one attack that was lost due to lack of focus, the most prominent of which was by Al Moez, who was alone with the goalkeeper, but he shot the ball far from the goal.Al-Taawoun managed to score the second goal in the 86th minute from a counter-attack by Alvardo with a shot from inside the penalty area.
