Our team flew this evening in the skies of the AFC Champions League and reached the semifinal round after defeating the Saudi side Al Shabab by two goals to one in the quarterfinal round match that was played at Al Thumama Stadium at 6 pm.

The match commenced with obvious cautious approaches from both sides, which made the performance confined to the midfield area without any serious offensive attempts on both goals.

In the second half, the performance was similar to the first half, and the spaces were closed in front the players’ movements, and the play was confined to the midfield area, and the offensive attempts were absent until the 77th minute, in which Michael Olunga succeeded in putting Al Duhail in the lead by scoring the first goal, which came from a header, taking advantage of the corner kick executed by Nam Tae Hee.

In the 86th minute, the magnificent Olunga returned again and was able to score the second goal with a shot from inside the penalty area after the distinctive cross pass that he received from the substitute Ismail Mohamed.
