Our first team of football lost their match to Al Sadd in Round 21 of the QNB Stars League by one goal to three in the maych played today in Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium and kicked off at 9 pm.

The first half ended with Al Sadd in lead by one goal scored at the 41st minute by Baghdad Bounjah.

In the second half, Akram Afif scored Al Sadd second goal at the 51st minute, then our striker Michael Olunga scored Al Duhail first and only goal at the 73rd minute from a penalty kick awarded by the referee after Lotfi Majer has been tackled. Al Sadd scored their third goal at the 75th minute.

With this result, the team still at 48 points on top of the league table awaiting their final round fixture versus Al Shamal to be crowned champions of the QNB Stars League.
