Al Duhail Tornado Passes Al Sailiya Hurdle and Qualifies for the Amir Cup Quarterfinal…

Al Duhail First Football Team managed to overcome Al Sailiya in their first match of the Amir Cup in the Round of 16, after the “Tornado” achieved a significant 4-2 victory in the match that brought both teams together at Khalifa International Stadium.

Al Duhail four goals were all scored in the first half of the match, with Benjamin Bourigeaud opening the scoring for the “Storm” in the 26th minute from the penalty spot. Then, Karim Boudiaf added Al Duhail second goal with a powerful shot from outside Al Sailiya penalty area in the 29th minute.

The 37th minute witnessed the third goal by the team’s striker Michael Olunga, after he capitalized on a cross from his teammate Al Moez Ali and headed it skillfully into Al Sailiya net. Olunga then completed Al-Duhail four goals after converting a cross from Humam Al Amin with his right foot into Al Sailiya net.

In the second half, Al Sailiya managed to reduce the score through Ben Yettou in the 58th minute, and the same player added Al Sailiya second goal in the 79th minute, ending the match with a 4-2 victory for Al Duhail.

With this result, the “Al Duhail Tornado” secured their place in the quarterfinals of the Amir Cup and will await the winner of the match between Al Rayyan and Lusail, which will be held this evening.
