Al Duhail loses to Al Ahli

The team lost their match in Round 12 of the Expo Stars League, which was played at o5:30 pm today at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium versus Al Ahli with a score of five goals to three. This leaves the team at 17 points in fifth place in the league standing table.

The first half of the match ended with Al Ahli leading by three goals to two. The first goal of the match was scored by Youssef Ayman in the second minute, who accidentally scored an own goal. Then, Yazan Na’imat scored the second goal for his team in the seventh minute.

In the 31st minute, our team managed to reduce the gap through Al Moez Ali, who took advantage of the counter-attack initiated by Ismail Mohamed to head the ball into the net.

Al Ahli returned to score again in the 35th minute through their striker Omar Siko. However, the team equalized again in the fourth minute of the added time, as Ismail Mohamed received a remarkable cross from Al Moez Ali inside the penalty area and struck the ball powerfully into the net. The referee then blew his whistle, signaling the end of the first half.

In the second half, the team entered the field seeking to equalize, launching attacks with Al Moez Ali, Ismail Mohamed, and behind them Coutinho. The continuous pressure placed Al Ahli on the defensive, forcing their players to retreat to protect their goal.

The team nearly scored with a shot from Al Moez, but the goalkeeper managed to deflect it. In the 80th minute, Al Ahli scored their fourth goal through Omar Siko with a powerful shot from inside the penalty area. In the 83rd minute, striker Mohamed Muntari narrowed the gap to 3-4 with a goal, taking advantage of a cross from Sultan Al Brake.

In the fourth minute of added time, Al Ahli scored their fifth goal through their striker Naim Sleti.
