A Draw Dominates Our Match versus Al Arabi…

Our team and Al Arabi shared the points of the match that brought them together this evening at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium that kicked off at 8 pm ended in a 2-2 draw, bringing the team’s to 18 points.

The first half of the match ended in a goalless draw between both teams, despite the clear advantage of our team, which missed more than one clear opportunity to reach Al Arabi’s goal. The 45th minute saw Al Arabi striker Alaa Hassan sent off with a red card for a violent tackle on our defender Kim Moon-Huan.

In the second half, the team tried to exploit the numerical deficit of the Al Arabi team and started launching their attacks until they succeeded in scoring the first goal in the 65th minute through Ibrahima Diallo after following up on the ball that bounced off Al Arabi defenders inside the penalty area.

In the 70th minute, Al Moez Ali scored the second goal after a quick counter-attack that saw the ball reach Al Moez inside the penalty area to fire a left-footed missile that hit Al Arabi’s goal.

In the 84th minute, Al Arabi was able to reduce the difference with a goal scored by their player Ahmed Fathi with a shot from outside the penalty area.

In the 89th minute, the referee awarded a penalty to Al Arabi after the ball touched defender Feressimo’s hand, and Omar Al Somah stepped up and scored the equalizer for his team.
